6 Months old!!

So, Sorry everyone, I know I have been a real slacker and have not posted anything for a long time. I have just been so busy with work and school. But I have a lot to update you on. So I took Mason for his 6 month check up about a week and a half ago. He is doing awesome. He weighs 16 lbs. and 4 oz. now. And he is 26 inches long. He is very long for his age. (Iam thinking he got his long legs from me hehehe.)Anyway, he is doing great. I did just stop breast feeding him over the last few weeks and that has gone fine. He has transitioned well to a bottle full time. Things were just getting to stressful with my life to keep up the milk supply. But yeah for me Iam just happy I lasted 6 months. He is also eating solid foods. He loves sweet potatoes, squash, green beans, bananas pears and applesauce. He is also sitting up on his own and doing very well. And the biggest thing is that he is trying to crawl. He scoots really well all over the place and he is real speedy at it too. He gets on his hands and knees but can't quite figure it out yet. But I love to see him scooting around. He is so smart, I can't believe all the things he is doing. He just takes everything in. He loves to just play and roll around on the floor and play with his brothers. He is such a cute boy, anything can make him laugh and he just lights up whenever someone walks into the room and talks to him. He has the most precious smile. I melt every time I see it. He is my love bug. Anyway. I have some videos and pictures posted of him. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

So thease are some pictures of Mason this morning eating a little rice cereal. I have tried feeding it to him several times before but he would never eat it. But today I mixed it with a little bit of apple juice instead of formula or breast milk and anyway he loved it. He just snarfed it down. So I guess thats what I will have to do from now on. He is still doing very well and growing like a weed. He is my little love bug. I just love him so much.

Here is Mason bouncing away in his jump a roo rain forest bouncer!! As you can tell he loves this thing. He looks so cute in it I think. And then it never fails that every time he gets in it he always falls asleep in it. He is just bouncing himself to sleep. Anyway I hope you all enjoy it.

4 month check up!!

So last tuesday I took Mason in for his 4 month check up. He weighed in at 13 pounds 8 ounces and he was 24 inches long. He is growing so big, so fast, I can hardly believe it. I know I say it all the time but it's true. The doctor said that he is so strong. She said he seems more like a 6 month old. He also had to have a few shots, ouch!! He did not like those at all. But then he was fine after I picked him up and cuddled him. He doesn't do very well with his shots, usually for the rest of the day he is just kind of quiet and just lays there. I feel so bad for him, but by the next day he usually is doing better. Anyway, he is such a smiley baby! He is always grining and laughing at something. I love his little toothless grin, it is the cutest thing in the world and he always wakes up in the morning with his cute little smile!! Anyway he is doing great!! He is growing well and still nursing well and is a great little guy to be around. He is also learning already how to scoot himself around in circles. It is kind of funny!! Sometimes he tries to scoot in a circle when he is in his crib and his legs get stuck in the slats. But he is still happy. I will go and check on him and its so funny to see his legs there hanging out of the crib and he is just content as can be. He is so silly!! But we all love the entertainment. :)

Here is Mason at Kysen's 6th birthday party last week. His grandma great (as we call her) is holding him. He loves his grandma great, she can always get him to smile!!

Here is me and my new niece, Brynli Jillian Hunt!! Just thought I would throw this picture in. And she was only 6 oz, smaller than Mason was. I can't believe that 4 months ago he was that small. He has grown so much in 4 months. It is so hard to believe!!

Mason is doing very well!! He keeps rolling over (which I have not had a minute to get a video of it yet, but I will)! He is such a sweet boy, He is always laughing and smiling! He is still sleeping good through the night. He goes to sleep around 8-9 and then wakes up to eat around 4-6 then he goes back to sleep until about 9. Today I also fed him rice cereal for the first time. He seemed to like it. He didn't quite get the concept that you have to swallow it, but he will get it soon I.m sure. He would just kind of play with it in his mouth and made a big mess, but that's ok and to be expected I guess!! But after a few bites when he saw the spoon coming towards his mouth he would open his mouth up wide. It was cute!! I will try it again tomorrow so he can practice. Other then that there is nothing to new and exciting. Iam taking him next week for his 4 month check up so I will update you all with that. I can't wait to see how much he weighs.

So here is the finished product!! It looks a lot better then it does in this picture, I promise. He did really good until the end. As you can see he started to get mad and a little fussy! But we did it. It has now been a few days and I have only had to fix a couple of strays. I think we did a great job! Everyone since has complimented on how cute he looks.

Mason's First Haircut video!! (Sort of, Kysen shot it, so we got a little of it! :) )

So Here is some video and a little extra of me trying to cut Mason's hair. Kysen was trying to "make a movie" of it as he would call it. And so we got some of it and then we got a little of Kayden and Averee playing. But I posted it anyway!!

Mason's First Haircut!!

So here are some before shots of Mason's hair before I cut it. I decided that he really needed his hair cut. It was all different lengths everywhere and in some spots it was falling out. So I wanted it to look a little better. And some people said that he looked like he had an old man toupee on top of his head. So I figured it was time. I almost started crying cause in a way I didn't want to cut off his hair but I knew that he needed it. And in the end it looked really cute!!. But he did a really good job and was not scared at all. He just got a little antsy towards the end. But he did great.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub Mason in the Tub!!!

Here is a video of Mason splashing in the tub!! He loves bath time. He knows that a bath is coming. He can be crying and as soon as he hears the water starting to run in the tub he will stop instantly! It is kind of funny actually. He is always smiling when he is in the tub. It is so cute. He would just love to stay in there all day.

Mason is growing so fast, I know I say that all the time but he really is. He is 3 1/2 months old already and I can't believe it. Yesterday he just started rolling over. He finally figured it out. And now all day today he has been rolling all over the place. As soon as I lay him down the next second he is on his tummy. Now he just has to figure out how to roll back on to his back. But for now all day I have just been rolling him back over on his back over and over again. I will try and get some video of it in the next few days to show you because it is so cute!!

Mason Update!

Mason is doing awesome and he is growing like a weed. The last week or so he has been trying to roll over. He has not accomplished this task yet but I think he will soon. He can get half way rolled over but not quite all the way over yet. It is so fun to watch him grow and learn. He takes everything in around him. He is starting to sleep so much better now through the night. Iam so happy for that. There is not to much more to say other than he is happy and healthy. And I can't believe he is already 3 months old. It has gone by so fast. I will be posting new pictures and a video soon in the next day or two. So look for them. I am just so busy right now with work and school and the boys. We are very busy here. I am going to school 2 nights a week and working. It is ok for now but it will be hard to adjust when the work at school gets harder. Anyway I will post those in a few days when I am not so tired. Iam going to bed since Mason is sleeping. :)

Smile Mason!!

So I was trying to get Mason to Smile!! It worked at first as you can tell in the video but then I could not get him to smile any more after that, that is until I shut the camera off of coarse. That figures! But I wanted to post it anyway because he looks so cute!!

Mason was having a little Tummy Time hanging over the boppy pillow! He only liked it for a short time. The very top picture is my favorite one I have taken of him. I love it!! And I think he might have blue eyes. It kind of looks like it in that picture. I can only hope, but time will tell!!

Mason's 2 month check-up!

So I have really been slacking but mason had his 2 month check-up about 2 weeks ago. He is doing great and growing like a weed! He weighed 10 lbs. 11 1/2 oz. And he is 22 in. long now! He has grown so much in the last few weeks. Every time someone sees him that has not seen him for a while say that he has doubled in size. That's what it seems like for me too. So he also had his first set of shots! Ouch!! He did not like that much, poor little guy. But he made it through despite it all. He did not feel very well the rest of the day though and he got a slight fever. But that is to be expected with shots. But like I said, he is growing well and there are no problems. He is eating like crazy. Breast feeding is going much better now. We don't really have any problems with that now. Mason is a breast feeding champ. Thank goodness because it is much cheaper then formula (and Healthier)!

Here is Mason in his bouncy seat! He loves it as you can tell. He will sit in his seat for at least an hour and just sit there and kick like crazy. He loves to look at the lights that are on it. He gets that seat bouncing and he knows just how to do it.

Mason's first time at the pool!

We went to Bear Lake for the weekend of the fourth of July! It was a lot of fun. I took Mason for his first time at the pool!. He liked it about half of the time. We had fun, but it was short lived for his pool time. There was a lot of people there and he kept on getting splashed. He did not like that so much. And sorry for the picture of him that is sideways I can't figure out how to flip it the right way. (Iam still new at all this stuff)

I know that's it's been a while since I have posted. Mandy was able to capture one of Mason's first smile. Isn't he the cutest?

Mason has just started to smile the last 3 days. I love it, he looks so cute. He does not smile a lot yet because I think he is still trying to figure it out. But he is getting there. If I start to talk to him he will get this little smile on his face. He is doing very well. And he is growing like a weed. He just loves to look at everything and just take everything in around him. He loves to stare at you while you talk to him. He is the best baby. Although the last 2 weeks or so he starts to get real colicky at about 8 pm until about midnight-one o'clock. And no matter what I do I can not make him happy for to long. And it really sucks because Iam so tired and just want to go to bed. But I guess that's what happens when you are the mom. :) So I am not able to post any pictures because I do not have any. Kysen accidentally erased all of the pictures off of my camera and so I do not have any new ones. And of coarse I did not have them downloaded onto my computer yet. But I will take some more and post them soon. Iam sorry everyone.

Mason is growing so big!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. I have been very busy trying to adjust to life with a new baby and now 3 kids!! Mason is doing very well. I took him for his 2 week check-up and he made his birth weight, weighing in at 7# 2 oz. and he even grew half and inch measuring 19 1/2 inches. He is even bigger now that he is almost 5 weeks old. He eats very well. Just like a champ. Every 2-3 hours Iam nursing him. The breastfeeding is getting easier every day. We are both learning together. :) For a while he was having a hard time adjusting to day and night. So for a while I had a lot of sleepless nights, but for the last 5 days or so I have been trying to keep him up more during the day and he has been sleeping better at night. I am still exhausted but things are getting better everyday. Mason is just the cutest little guy. He is a lot more alert now and I love it. He just listens to every word you say and he is constantly looking around and taking everything in. He is starting to loose some of his hair. It is starting to thin out a little bit but he still has a full head of hair. I just have to let it go whatever direction it wants too because he has a major ca lick in the back that sends his hair in every direction no matter how I comb it. It is also lightening up a little bit also. But I love it. He is such a handsome little guy. And it looks like his eyes might turn blue. The last few days they look very blue. But I guess time will only tell with that. He is just getting so big so fast. But Iam enjoying having my last baby. He always wants to be held, but that's my fault. ( I try not to spoil him so much, but I can't help it, he is so cute and I want to enjoy every minute I can because I know he is my last baby.) Even though it is kind of tough adjusting I love being a mom. Mason is a great baby. His brothers love him to death and always kiss him and want to hold him. They can't wait for him to get bigger so they can play with him. But so far everything is going great. I really wanted to post some pictures but I can't download my pictures from my camera right at the moment. But I promise that I will next time very soon because I know everyone is anxious to see how he is growing and changing. I will not go as long next time to the next post. Iam starting to get into a routine now. That has been my biggest challenge. So until next time!!!

Mason's first doctor's appt.

Just thought I would give you a quick update. Yesterday we took Mason to the pediatrician for a check up and he is doing well. We weighed him and he weighs 6# 8 oz. which is what he weighed when we left the hospital. So he hasn't gained any weight but the doctor said that he has until he is 2 weeks old to be back up to his birth weight. So we have one more week to fatten him up a little. But they are not to worries yet. And his jaundice is doing much better. We did not have to do lights thank goodness. He is still eating well but nursing has become more than uncomfortable. the last two days it has been beyond painful. So the pediatrician thought it might be a yeast infection on my breasts, so she gave me a prescription for a nystatin cream and nystatin drops for Mason. She said that in 24-48 hours I would start to feel better. And it's been 24 hours since we started it and I already feel somewhat better. I have been able to breast feed him tonight the last 2 feedings. But since late last night and today I just pumped and fed him a bottle. It was so painful I couldn't even nurse him. But He has switched back and forth pretty well. And Today I also had to go to my doctor because I thought my c-section incision was coming open. But I went in and fortunately everything was okay. I just have to go back in to see him in one week so he can check it out again.We are doing very well. Mason is such a good baby. He is very calm and is just such a sweet boy. He loves to snuggle. I just love him so much. I am glad that he is a part of our crazy family. :) Right now Mason and I are missing Kysen and Kayden. They are in Las Vegas with their dad for a few more days. I really miss them but it has been somewhat nice to have a little break And I have been able to bond with my new baby a little more. It will be nice though when the boys get home.Well I will try to post again soon in the next few days. You all know how busy it gets sometimes with a new baby. I will post some new pic's also.

Kysen and Kayden were so excited to meet Mason. They were sad because the first day they were not able to see him or hold him because he was in the nursery and they did not allow them to come in. But they were able to officially meet him the next morning. Now all they want to do is hold him and kiss him and love on him. But I love seeing tem together. The bigger boys seem to be adjusting well to their new little brother. Kayden said to me the first day he saw him "Mom, He has lots of little hairs on his head." I thought it was so cute. They already just want to play with him, I have to keep reassuring them that the time will come soon enough when all 3 of them will be wrestling around on the ground together. Kysen can't wait to teach him how to walk and talk and play with all of their toys he says.He came up to me the other day and said "Mom, Thank You for my little brother." It just melted my heart. But they just love him to death. And it makes me so happy to see all of them together. Iam the proud Mommy of 3 little Boys!!

The first 24 hours home!

And here are his feet. Some of you know how I love baby feetand always have to check them out! He has the longest toes ever and big feet for his tiny body. And his feet also bend all the way back to his shins like his big brother Kayders ( because he has Hypermobility) Mason might have it too. We will see.
Mommy and Mason. This was the first time I got to see him in the nursery. I was so happy, I was not able to see him for about 6 hours and that killed me. So I was happy to finally see him.

Mason and I were discharged from te hospital yesterday at around 11:00 am. It was finally time to go home. Hooray!! We got home and just lounged around all day. Mason and I took a ittle nap, well I guess I took a little na cause Mason just sleeps all day like a normal newborn. But it was nice to take a little snooze with him. The night went well he woke up several times to eat and that went well. Although the 2 am feeding he stayed up and did not sleep well for about 2 hours. He was really fussy off and on. But then finally it was timw to eat again and thwn he settled right down and slept clear till morning. Thank godness because I was exhausted.

This mornng we had to go to the Hospital and have his billirubin level checked because he is very jaundice. Hid level was in the extremely high zone yeserday before we left. But several hours later after we came home we called the pediatrician and his levels were going down so that was a major relief. They said they would just recheck him next week on tuesday when we go in. But so far our day has gone well. He is also nurseing very well. Things are going much better this time around. Maybe because I have had practice at least 2 times before. He is the most precious baby!! I can't believe that I have another baby boy. He is succh a miracle. He is just like a litle sleeping angel. And every once in a while he will wake up for a minute and look around and it is so cute. He has big beautiful eyes. Iam the luckiest mommy in the world!

And I did forget last night he had his first spongebath at home he was not happy about it but he smelled like a fresh new baby after that. I love the smell of a baby all claen and freshly lotioned up :). I will try to post more in the days to come but if it takes me a while please be patient. I will do my best
